Everything about Seattle-tacoma International Airport Link Station totally explained

The Sound Transit Link Light Rail station at Sea-Tac Airport will be the terminus of the Sound Transit Central Link light rail line. The station is set to open in late 2009, approximately 6 months after the rest of the Central Link light rail line.

Location

The station will be located on the west side of International Boulevard. It will be on airport property, just to the east of the airport parking garages. The light rail track leading up to the station will go south along the Airport Expressway from the Tukwila/International Boulevard Station.

Pedestrian Connections

There will be a pedestrian bridge crossing International Boulevard from the station to a kiss and ride facility and the future SeaTac city center.
There will also be a series of pedestrian bridges to connect the station to the airport. Sound Transit says that it'll be approximately a four-minute walk from the station to the airport.

Other Elements

The station will be mostly glass, very similar to the Tukwila/International Boulevard Station.
Four artists have been commissioned by Sound Transit to provide public art for the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport Link Station.
